SeeByte Ltd today announced the sale of three SeeTrack Military systems to the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN), Wellington, New Zealand.
SeeByte’s SeeTrack Military software provides a situation awareness solution that helps personnel conducting maritime mine countermeasures(MCM), build a single picture of the operational environment by processing data from a wide variety of assets.
Cmdr Gordon Stamp, Director of RNZN Capability Requirements said:
“We have carried out a careful study of the market for a reliable software product capable of integrating data from all our legacy and new MCM assets, including autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), divers and towed sonars. SeeTrack Military provides the necessary tools to carry out the complete range of our mine countermeasures missions, whether they are in New Zealand waters or expeditionary in nature, where ffective interfacing into a Coalition can be a real force multiplier. Importantly, it also provides the real-time mine Computer Aided Detection and Classification tools that are essential to the rapid tempo of operations we need.”
