For operators and contractors alike, SeeTrack Offshore automates the ROV control process. It saves time over conventional systems making operations quicker, safer and easier. The ROV can efficiently manoeuvre through a mission ignoring the effects of currents. The ROV is less likely to hit structures in the seabed. The ROV can take excellent video pictures from a distance.

Following successful sea operations on the Foinaven and Schiehallion oilfields, west of the Shetland Islands, Chris Button of BP’s Exploration and Production Technology Group stated of SeeTrack Offshore that:
