We demand ever more of the assets and machines we own and operate. We want them to replace us in carrying out hazardous tasks; to work in increasingly harsh and remote locations; and to tell us before they need to be fixed. We also want them to show us what’s going on in their working environment.
To help them do all this we need to make them aware of their mission; aware of their surroundings; and aware of their own condition. SeeByte makes the software that delivers this Awareness.
SeeTrack Military provides the situational awareness that helps EOD (mine clearance) personnel to get a single picture of the battlespace by processing data and planning actions across all assets. Download the brochure here
SeeTrack Offshore helps Offshore Contractors to reduce training and operating costs by providing Dynamic Positioning (DP) to their remote vehicle (ROV) fleets. Download the brochure here.
SeeByte has been awarded a $1Million contract extension through the US Office of Naval Research, within its on-going Mine Neutralisation (MN) programme of work.
The extension to the current work focuses on producing an ‘operator in the loop’ solution to the MN problem where SeeByte’s sensor processing and control capabilities will be merged with SeeTrack Topside and the iRobot Maritime systems (formerly Nekton Research) Transphibian vehicle.
SeeByte used its AutoTracker intelligent payload software to guide a GAVIA Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) as it inspected two pipelines in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The purpose of this trial was to tackle complex pipeline shapes. The software interfaces to the AUV which is pre-programmed on the surface to carry out specific underwater missions, navigating using sonar and other sensors.
