Always on the forefront of innovation, SeeByte recognised a capability gap within integrity management's maintenance and fault detection arenas and sought out a solution with their SeeTrack Recovery technology. In order to make a system reliable and cost-effective, the operators must be aware of it's condition as a whole to be able to act pre-emptively should a maintenance situation arise. It was recognised that existing fault detection methods operated in a stove-pipe manner for each subsystem and thus provided a poor overview of the entire turbine system. They also only detect and localise expected failures in the system operation leading them to report incorrect diagnosis and unnecessary intervention solutions.

Early fault prediction and accurate diagnosis reduces cost and risk whilst improving productivity in remote system operations. SeeByte's solution to the challenges is SeeTrack Recovery, a modular toolkit used to tailor and build fault detection and diagnosis for multiple systems. SeeTrack Recovery's approach is to detect and localise unforeseen faults/errors and rank the order of fault possibilities. The modular design allows it to perform fault detection across the system as a whole. Along with these features and additional modules, this system is designed to provide a comprehensive intelligent diagnosis toolkit to keep systems productive.
