SeeByte, the global leader in creating smart software for unmanned maritime systems, is pleased to announce the company’s success in winning the 2013 Scottish Digital Technology Award for International Growth.
The awards, which took place at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday 20th June, were hosted by ScotlandIS and attended by over 270 guests. Representing the company was Chief Operating Officer, Stuart Genet, who was presented with the prize by Alastair Balfour, Chairman at Company Creators Ltd.
Genet commented: “We really are honoured to have won the award for International Growth. As a technology company based in Scotland, it is a phenomenal achievement to provide capabilities to so many commercial companies, and sixteen navies, around the world. We are particularly proud of our long standing relationship with the US Navy. Developing such a strong presence in the US is a great accomplishment for a Scottish company, and we are delighted that the Digital Technology Awards have recognised this success.”
SeeByte, which was formed in early 2001, has grown steadily over the past decade and now has over fifty staff based at offices in Edinburgh, Scotland and San Diego, California. SeeByte’s overseas sales were recognised by the awards panel which praised the company’s generation of over two thirds of revenues from export markets across five continents.
