Bob Black, CEO
Bob was appointed as CEO of SeeByte in August of 2010 with a remit to take SeeByte deeper into the global Energy and Defence markets. He has extensive experience of building technology and consulting businesses in both sectors.
As a Vice President of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) from 1997 to 2008, Bob held management positions in Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, the United States and the UK. From 2008 to 2010 he was an Executive Consultant at Capgemini where his achievements in the Oil and Gas sector were recognised with a European business development award.
Having earned his honours degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Glasgow, Bob progressed to achieve his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Edinburgh in 1988
Spending time in the great outdoors is certainly one of Bob's most favoured pastimes. He has climbed mountains around the world and, when time permits, he hill-walks and cycles in Scotland. However, most weekends are spent enjoying time with his young family.
