SeeByte, the global leader in developing smart software solutions for uncrewed maritime systems, are looking for several Student Research Engineers to join their team in their Bristol office.
As part of a world renowned, expert engineering team, you will be working with state-of-the-art software systems for the management of uncrewed systems software. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an innovative and forward-thinking company with an international client base.
You will be working on developing a prototype that addresses a real-world problem found in the maritime domain. This will start with an investigate phase where you will be conducting research into the problem, identify relevant technologies and propose a solution. Whilst developing the prototype, you will have the opportunity to present findings and get feedback from industry experts.
The successful applicants will be expected to develop novel algorithms by leveraging concepts such as machine learning, optimisation and mathematical modelling. They will also be using Python and common libraries (e.g. NumPy, Tensorflow, SciPy) to develop their prototype.
