UK Programme Manager

  • Salary: Circa £60,000 - £85,000 per annum (or pro-rata) + pension scheme and discretionary bonus

SeeByte, global market leader in the development of smart software for maritime robotic autonomous systems are looking to hire a Programme Manager to join our team.  This is a very exciting opportunity to support the Programme Director, leading on customer-facing programmes and multiple projects in a complex environment. 

The UK Programme Manager is responsible for leading customer-facing programmes and associated projects at SeeByte, ensuring delivery against contractual commitments, schedules and budgets. The role provides structured oversight of delivery while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.  In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships. This role will require defence or defence related, MOD or Government related experience. Experience delivering software projects is desirable but not essential.

You will work closely with engineering and commercial teams to ensure alignment between commercial delivery and technology strategy.

  • Provide delivery governance, reporting, and programme oversight

  • Skilled at managing expectations and navigating complex stakeholder dynamics
  • Strong focus on contractual delivery commitments and programme governance, ensuring predictable outcomes

Experience leading technical programmes in a complex or matrixed environment, ideally from the Defence sector

APM qualified, or equivalent, would be beneficial
